Review: Stitches: A Memoir

StitchesStitches by David Small
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

After months of friends and colleagues telling me, "You have to read Stitches by David Small!" I finally picked it up and read it, and I'm so glad I did.

Even if you're one of those people who still thinks graphic novels aren't sophisticated enough to bother with, you will like this one. David Small shares his painful childhood memories growing up in a family that left everything that actually mattered unsaid. In a way that only a graphic novel can, Stitches demonstrates that it is never too late to find your way to speak out.
