In my mail: Signed ARC from Jessica Warman--Between

For anyone who's reading this and thinking, "Publishing is such a popularity contest. Nobody likes me, so it's not even worth trying . . . blah, blah, blah" I'll admit this much: it's easier to root for some authors than it is to root for others. Jessica Warman is one of those people who is easy to root for because she's so darn nice. (She also writes very well, and if you haven't read Breathless, you really should.)

Just a few days ago, she agreed to be the subject of my first author interview ever on 1600 Words a Day, so stay tuned for that. She also was kind enough to send me an ARC of her upcoming novel, Between. Amazon is telling me Between is supposed to hit the stores in August and the ARC has an endorsement from Gail Giles, so we already know it's creepy. I can't wait! (No, really, that's not sarcasm. I really can't wait, but my husband won't let me stay up all night reading. Maybe I need to trade him in for a new model.)
