Amazon Breakthrough Novel Awards Semi-Finalists TBA Next Tuesday
I received an email from the CreateSpace team reminding me that the semi-finalists for ABNA will be announced on April 26. A few days after that, everyone who didn't make the cut will be wiped from the site, so we're supposed to save our reviews now if we want to keep them. Isn't that nice? I'm keeping a good thought for Keeper, but in case it doesn't make the cut, I'd like to ask that anyone who hasn't rated it, please do so here ASAP.

This review is from: Keeper - excerpt from 2011 Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award Entry by Amy Armstrong (Kindle Edition) From the first page Samantha pulls me into the story. I am captivated with her as she deals with her Mom, her absent boyfriend and how different Santa Barbara University is from where she grew up on the east coast. I am eager to find out what happens next and read more from this new author.

This review is from: Keeper - excerpt from 2011 Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award Entry by Amy Armstrong (Kindle Edition) Looking forward to seeing more of this winning novel by newcomer Amy Armstrong. With natural dialog, wry wit, and a situation that many teen and college girls will recognize, the story is a grabber.

Was excited to read this, but just couldn't connect with the voice. It seemed heavy and the dialogue didn't feel natural. Dont want to read further.
