Mona Awad—I’m not cool enough

I’m trying to make my way through the 2021 Popsugar reading challenge, and as we near the last months of the year, it’s clear to me that I’m probably not going to achieve my lofty reading goals. I would like to achieve at least my person reading goal of finishing Bunny by Mona Awad before long. That book has been on my radar for a while, but now, we have a new installment from the same author touching on injury and the way women’s pain is dismissed.

(I won’t even get into all the articles in The New Yorker and Harpers that have sidetracked me lately. I’ve seen a lot.) I’m also working on a presentation on using grief in fiction for writers for RMFW’s Colorado Gold Conference in October.

Stay tuned. Also, who has read Mona Awad’s books?
